- 2 pound chicken cut up
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 large eggs beaten
Cut the chicken into pieces, and then dredge your chicken into the buttermilk. Cover and refrigerate for about an hour.
Set up your dredging stations:A. In the first bowl, add the flour, and season with salt, and black pepper. B. In the second bowl, add your eggs, using a fork, beat the eggs. Drain the chicken, from the buttermilk, and then place the chicken into the flour, coating the chicken well. Then remove the chicken from the flour, shaking off any excess, and place it not the egg, return the chicken to the flour mixture, and then contine coating the rest of the chicken. Preheat your air fryer to 370 degrees F, and then spray your chicken (the entire chicken, so it crisps up) with cooking spray. Be careful not to crowd your air fryer basket, and cook the chicken for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
