Ingredients
  

  • 10-13 pounds turkey thawed and cleaned
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons chicken rub any type

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the grill or smoker is set at a consistent, low temperature (around 225-250 degrees Fahrenheit)
  • Then in a large bowl, mix together the olive oil, poultry seasoning, salt, and chicken rub.
  • Rub the turkey with the rub.
  • Add the turkey to the roasting pan.
  • Set the roasting pan into the grill, uncovered.Cook for 2 hours.
  • Then increase the cooking temperature to 325 degrees F, and cook for another 2 to 4 hours. Or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
  • Let the turkey rest for 15 to 20 minutes, before carving.
